New Blue Bombers Mike OShea head coach announced Tuesday that Bellefeuille would return to run Winnipegs offence. Bellefeuille finished off Winnipegs disappointing 2013 season in that role after Gary Crowton was fired on Aug. 18 following a five-game losing streak. "Marcel brings a wealth of experience and success to our offensive and I am very pleased he has accepted the position of offensive co-ordinator," OShea said in a statement. "Having worked with some of our players already, and having a grasp on the type of organization we are trying to build, I feel Marcel is the right fit for this position." While Winnipeg finished with a 3-15 record, the offence slowly began to take shape in the second half of the season behind quarterback Max Hall. Bellefeuille was reportedly considered for the head coach position for the expansion Ottawa Redblacks, which went to former Calgary defensive co-ordinator. With all head coaching positions filled going into next year, it appears Bellefeuilles foreseeable future lies in Winnipeg.
